Happy Birthday Grandma Pat!

Today we celebrate Pat's 60th birthday from afar. The kids love spending time with their Grandma and are looking forward to going up to Minnesota and having quality time with her. It is hard being so far away, but we wish her the best birthday ever.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHLEY FAITH

Well, today I am crying like a little girl. My Ashley turns 6 today and it seems unbelievable that 6 years ago I was ready to go home from the hospital for dinner and WHAM, my water broke 7 weeks early and there she was; 4 lbs, 13 oz and a whopping 19 1/2 inches long. She was only in ICU for 11 days and I still cannot believe how tiny she really was. Her first pair of shoes were American Girl sandals and her first outfit (premie sleeper) was too big.

But here we are today, celebrating a milestone for her. She is more precious than ever and wakes up every morning with a big smile on her face, thankful that God has given her another day and wanting to know - WHAT'S FOR BREAKFAST!

We took a trip to see our cousins in LaCross for Shelby's confirmation. We didn't realize it was over 3 years since we got the kids together so you can imagine how excited we were to get them all together for this picture.
